Help needed gents! Was just offered this one. 1QB non TEP Give: JT, Jeudy, Hockenson Receive: McBride, Rice
Meh. If it’s PPR, it’s fine, nothing spectacular. If it’s not PPR, there’s no way I do this deal. I frankly don’t see a huge gap between McB and Hock (Hock was coming off a year that he was coming off major injury, and usage increased more down the stretch, and he’s a LOT more in the red zone than McB). One thing I will point out, however, is that “buying low” on a player actually means you have to get him at a decent price. To me, you’re actually paying a premium on Rice with the question marks surrounding him. Still has the legal issues over his head, but people are ignoring Worthy’s emergence toward the end of the year. Yes, they serve different roles, but that’s ignoring that there are only so many opportunities. Throw in the emergence of Gray and now Rice competes directly with Kelce AND Gray for the same targets.
I wouldn’t take this trade
Beauty thanks a lot for your time and thoughts gents greatly appreciated 🍻
@JMOTED @A440 @cwmoorez @garden91 @Stxmatt Thank you for your thoughts and time, gentlemen I really really appreciate it! What would you guys think about trading Hock and Jeudy for Mcbride?
Solid for McBride. I'd take that. I don't think the gap is that big between Hock and McBride but I like the price.
I would just keep what you got tbh
yeah, I didn't take anything you said in a negative way at all, and didn't mean to come across that way if I did, the way I see buy low is getting a player cheaper than I believe his value will be, I consider ADP and KTC values but two have lied to me before, lol, I have nothing but respect for your take and think a difference of opinion is a good thing, for who had the question to begin with and for me
Imo it boils down to if you would want to play JT over either rb or or AJB ( not counting byes or injuries) If you don’t plan to I think it’s definitely worth the upgrade to McBride. Otherwise it just looks even. With McBride and rice being more desirable long term.
I'd take Rice side. @raythelegend
